Fully Scottish-made formal Victorian-style doublet, we can made these in velvet, tweed or barathea. The Balquhidder is a variation of the Balmoral doublet and is a classic piece of highlandwear. With the Kenmore, these were once the universal type of kilt jacket.

If you are looking for a statement jacket for that special occasion, this is the perfect choice. With he lapelled collar, this may be worn with a necktie, bowtie, rouche tie or even cravat, depending on whatever the occasion calls for.

This version is the standard size, use the dropdown menu to select your usual jacket size. Unsure? Take a measure of your chest, waist (over your kilt preferably) and let us know your height in the text box and we can make sure you get the best fit. The Balmoral Doublet is made to order in our own tailoring workshop in Glasgow. Lead time is indicated in the drop-down menu.
